On behalf of the Mauriceville Heritage Association, we cordially invite you to share our passion by attending our various events and experience first-hand our community’s enthusiasm. Our website has a wealth of information regarding our upcoming activities.
Our next event is The Mauriceville Crawfish Bash, May 1-2, 2020. We hope you will plan to spend Friday and Saturday as a vendor or enjoying the eclectic mix of goods our community has to offer.
The Mauriceville Crawfish Festival, which began in 1981, became a true community event and has grown considerably over the past 38 years. From humble beginnings, we have transformed from a small town festival into an amazing Crawfish Cook-off featuring some of the best crawfish you'll ever taste, and lots of family fun.
The success of The Heritage Association and it's events can be attributed to the dedicated organizers and volunteers, along with the contributions by sponsors such as Top Deck Industries, Market Basket Stores, Texas Sales, Sunbelt Rentals, GTI, Sabine Credit Union, NewPark , International Paper, and many local Mauriceville businesses just to name a few.

Your support through ticket sales and attendance is an essential part of the funding we are able to give each year. Without your support, several of these organizations would go without needed funding. Please help us to continue to build our community and work toward an even better 2019.
Lacking the state and federal funds that support incorporated areas, rural communities like Mauriceville depend primarily on locally raised revenue to support our organizations. The Mauriceville Heritage Association is dedicated to:
Developing strong community connections through our annual festival, and provide the property needed for cultural, academic, athletic and agricultural activities
Promote positive outcomes for our youth, senior citizens, and families by providing material support to smaller community and family-centered organizations.
Enhance our unique strengths as a community
